John Somers is an experimental sound designer from Baltimore, a subject he has studied for the majority of his life.  

 

Many of John's pieces strive to fill the voids of sound in daily life. John is also a seasoned archivist.  he maintains terabytes of unreleased and unheard material.

For a Fox in the Womb, is a 225 minute masterpiece of sound design, originally created as a lullaby for his god-son.  Belly Scrub is proud and honored to release the intimate piece in its entirety on the winter solstice, December 21, 2022.
